Let me start off by eplaining what happend first... Had my Z painted about a few months ago. The guy who painted it didn't put enough flex in the paint over my j-spec front, and stock rear bumper. To make a long story short it started flaking off a couple of months later. So after getting my money from him I take it to a body shop and tell them the problem. They repaint the front just fine, but sand down the paint over the rock gaurd unevenly. I am pissed beyond belief, but trying to see the silver lining in the clouds. The same shop won't charge me for the work they did to screw up the rear bumper, but at the same time time they will not sand down the rock gaurd the rest of the way to make it look decent. The guys are saying that they don't know how to do it. So I am asking 1.) What is involved beyond just sanding it down? and 2.) I have seen that many of you have done it, so are there any negatives to doing it? Thanks for any insight...
